Candy cane hot chocolate stirrers.
Should the weather ever turn wintry a hot chocolate always hits the spot. Jazz up a mug of cocoa with a hot chocolate stirrer. I have used mini candy canes (from Poundland, 34 mini canes for 1 pound) as handles here. You could just as easily use matchmakers or pretzel sticks.
Ingredients
large bar of chocolate (dark,milk or white)
handles (mini candy canes, matchmakers, pretzel sticks or pocky sticks)
mini foil cases (my heart ones came from Tiger)
How to…
Melt a large bar of chocolate in a bowl over a pan of barely simmering water.
Place the foil cases onto a plate.
Fill the cases with chocolate and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes until almost set.
Remove from the fridge and push in the candy canes or other handles. Place back into the fridge until fully set.
Wrap in bags as gifts or start warming the milk for a hot chocolate of your own.
Stir and enjoy.
